To convey or not convey your washer and dryer when selling your home…

You have an offer on your home.  The standard contract does not include the washer and dryer as items to convey.  Therefore, the seller has the following two options:

  1. Do not include the washer and dryer to convey.  You take them with you to your next home.
  2. Convey the washer and dryer, but do not warrant.

In case the inspection finds a repair needed to the washer and dryer, the seller is usually covered from a possible repair or credit.
